In my personal opinion the way that player injuries work in FMO is just plain wrong, is far too harsh and needs re-thinking.
I can accept that you can get a player injured for 14-15 days (nearly half a season), but when the player recovers. He should be just that,
RECOVERED!
What actually happens is that the player comes back in no condition to play again because his Energy is 80% and his stamina is 95%. This is just wrong because now you have to:
1- Spend two days getting the player's energy back to 100%, upon which point the player's Stamina rating is around 94% and his Techincal rating is also dropping.
2- His Match Practice has dropped since he has not played for 15 days so you have to play a weakened player regardless of his Energy/Stamina because you cannot let his Match Practice drop any further, thus risking cup and league campaigns!
3- Because you then have spent days purely on training the player's Energy and Stamina training, his Technical rating has dropped even further along with his Satisfaction rating!
In short, long term injury of 14-15 days actually denies you the player (the strength he was before the injury) for about 25-30 days! If the player is aged 31 or 32 then he is practically finished.
Fundamentally I think that an injured player should recover with 100% Energy, and an unchanged stamina rating (That's why we have a Physio!). I think this is fair as you've already paid the penalty of not having the player available to play AND also his Match Practice rating has been reduced by 50 points. Surely that is punishment enough?
If FMO Admins are reading this then please consider it gift to all the FMO managers out there if you could consider reducing the injury lengths (no injuries over 7 days or by letting the injured player keep his previous Energy and Stamina ratings?)
