Championship
Tonight I played a team strength of 621 with a heavily unbalanced formation. The formation that I picked alone was enough for me to lose the game 8-0
I was 373 points weaker than my opposition Ramat Gan Reds and I still drew 0-0!
I expected to draw the match before the game was played if I played my strongest 1060+ team according to the FMO pattern.
BUT I STILL DREW THE GAME WHILST TRYING MY BEST TO LOSE!
It proves that no matter what team selection I picked tonight, FMO had already determined the result to be a draw.
In my view, this could not be more damning. It proves without question what I have been saying all along.
FMO has suffered reputational damage from tonight's experiment. There is no question about that.
FMO, seriously, you need to fix the CL competition to make it fair again for all ASAP.
EVERYTHING I HAVE SAID HAS BEEN VINDICATED TONIGHT
@Kurt
Put that in your pipe and smoke it
Seid ihr jetzt dann fertig mit heulen ?
Hey Phi, you can do whatever you want in this game, and I can bearly understand your frustration, but maybe it’s time for a new mission with a different team that you can build up or get back to new glory?
After all you managed the same team for nearly a decade now and with the incredibly high expectations you have (which are certainly justified given such a strong team) you can ultimately only end up disappointed from FMO. The only possible outcomes are performing exactly as your strength suggests or falling short of expectations. There is no such thing as performing "better than my strength allows" for you, because you were already at the very top. I think the idea of taking on a new challenge with starting from scratch in a new country and/or with a weak team and pushing your way back up—might just reignite your drive.

One final thing...

'you are also fully aware of the implications for other teams and for England's LW position'
but I wrote at 21.08.2026 22:24, over an hour later:
"the implications for other teams and for England"
You then said that you just repeated that I wrote and 'let's leave it that.'
But you didn't repeat it because I hadn't written it yet.
No wonder I was confused!
Not a direct quote. Still the original point was about peer pressure, you repeating it for emphasis is still peer pressure.
More importantly, you are redirecting the responsibly relating to my quote away from FMO and back onto me (that's why I didn't understand your reference). I repeat the implications of this falls 100% at FMO's feet.
also, FMO has forfeited the games already. I know the pattern
If unhappy, write to them about it.
"the implications for other teams and for England"
Let's leave it at that.
@Ata
You didn't repeat what I wrote.
'but you are also fully aware of the implications for other teams and for England's LW position'
Is a quote from your message.
What is the date and time of my message where you took that quote from?
I just repeated what you wrote...
@Ata
'but you are also fully aware of the implications for other teams and for England's LW position'
That is peer pressure.
OK.
To be fair, I don't think anybody has applied any pressure.
