@Michael
I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree with you. If you are an affected club "in the long run, good quality does not prevail"
I have, like you, also won the treble twice. I know good times, I know bad times, and I know FMO well enough to know when its messed up.
As Giovanni said, I'm not the only club that is affected, and this is not restricted to the CL, its affecting clubs in the other continental cup competitions too.
I would have not have even qualified for the PO's if it wasn't for the fact that my last group match was against the bottom club, and even then FMO tried its best to knock me out. I even highlighted it in the chat before the game was played. It's predictable!
You can say you're fed up with reading about this. If I'm honest, I'm fed up writing about it too. But no one, absolutely no one, can say its not happening and things balance out over time.
Statistics over a number of season's proves that this is not the case. And if you disagree with that, I'll leave you with little stat:
In the last 16 seasons (that includes this season), Bristol has constantly fielded ~1060-1074 strengths and have failed to qualify from the Group Stage & PO's six times (sometimes finishing 30th in the group stages!), Bristol have been knocked out a further four times in the last 16.
So a top 3 (sometimes top 1) team in Europe has only got approximately a 1 in 3 chance of the making the QF's over 16 seasons? Most times getting knocked by significantly weaker teams with standard tactics? That is absolutely appalling.
If you're not currently not affected then I'm happy for you. But nobody can accuse those affected are bad losers. We're not, we just want fair calculations and to be able to enjoy the game like you too.
