League One (2. Div)
@FMO
Please can we be notified about potential future updates?
Managers could then have an opportunity to provide input which might be insightful and alter how an update is implemented.
While I appreciate the desire to improve FMO, could we have a Poll to suggest any updates to see if they're popular before implementation?
There are only 2-3 updates that I would like to see:
1- More Substitutions - The fact that this has been raised and dismissed is really disheartening (I'll speak about this later)
2- Fix the Match Reports so that the team line-ups are still complete after a player, that has played in a the match, have been transferred to another club.
3 - Potentially allow the free agents page work again, but have it operate the same way as Winter Contracts, i.e. the player waits three days before deciding which offer to accept, so that everyone has a fair chance and stops cheating. (I'm less bothered about this than 1 & 2 which I think are huge issues)
More Substitutions
I had to play weak selections away to both Millwall and Barrow last season because of a lack of MP on my younger players.
So instead of these matches being 'showpiece' fixtures, they are reduced to nothingness simply because under the current 3 substitutes rule its impossible to keep my younger upcoming players whilst trying to win a league title.
I also really wanted/needed to play a weakened team on the last day of the season against Manchester Blues, but they were in a last day relegation fight. In the end I played a far stronger team to win the game in order to keep the relegation battle fair. I did this although it harmed me which I'm feeling the consequences of now as I try to get players to 55MP so I can extend their contracts, and this is, in part, due to me not being able to make the normal 5 match substitutions per game throughout the season.
At the very least, we should have 3 non-injury match substitutions. Every time I have an injury, it takes up 1 substitution which now means my youth player is no longer coming on in the 90th minute to maintain his MP.
Transfer Fees being shown on the Player Career screen
In real-life many clubs do not disclose the transfer fee and this absolutely needs to be an option in FMO now that this update has happened.
Anyone can work out my transfer strategy simply looking at the my players history, and I can do the same to others! Why/how is that fair?!
Also winter contracts do not show up which, if we're doing this, absolutely needs to, otherwise we'll always be accusing each other of cheating.
The Away Goals rule
I know people complained about this on the message-boards (the US in particular) but this is FAR better than a penalty-shootout.
As a manager, with the Away Goals Rule, you could choose to play defensively at home and more attacking away. With this tactic you have more control on the amount of away goals that was scored in both legs. This is a valid management strategy and the manager has some control over this.
The cup tie is now less about management and more of a dice game.
I say this, because in real life, you have more 'control' over the shoot-out. You can scout the opposition, analyse which direction players shoot, bring on a TO that is good at saving penalties etc. In FMO the penalty shoot-out is not like that.
I am not joking, I once lost 20 (twenty) penalty shoot-outs in a row, despite having 99-100 goalkeepers and strikers.
@phi ... Thanks for the answer
@Mathias
I'm guessing these are AI generated updates, hence the mistakes.

Erst einmal Glückwunsch an Sonny! Starkes Team, verdienter Erfolg.
Big congratulations our Euro winners. Excellent work Ingo & Sonny!
It will be interesting to see how many clubs now qualify for Europe next season.
Good luck to all for next season
